Challenge

01 Building an mvp in tight deadlines
Tight deadlines restrict the choice of technologies, frameworks, or development methodologies. Balancing the need for rapid development with long-term scalability, maintainability, and performance considerations requires careful decision-making.

02 Implementing figma-like experience
Providing users with the ability to create, edit, and collaborate on cybersecurity threat models fluidly was an interesting part of the project. This involved implementing features such as drag-and-drop functionality, shape drawing tools, text editing, and alignment guides.

03 Allowing several users work in one document simultaneously
Enabling multiple users to work simultaneously on threat models, with changes reflecting instantly for all collaborators. This involves setting up a real-time synchronization system that updates the interface in response to changes made by any user.

Solution

01 As we honed our client’s idea, an mvp development process didn’t wait long. We used agile methodology and prioritized essential features to build an mvp in 2 weeks for our client to test the idea itself.

02 Crafting and building a user-friendly interface was an interesting part of the project. We worked on a comprehensive and clean architecture and workflow.

03 We used shared data types for building collaborative software so the users can work together flawlessly.

Results

By quickly implementing a minimum value product, our client was able to test the idea in a very short time. This allowed him to make sure the project has the potential as well as ascertain smooth collaboration with Jetbase as dev partners. We took off with the development of this project further together.
