Klarnode GmbH turns complex enterprise systems into clear, connected infrastructure. From Berlin, we design and build custom software, data pipelines, business intelligence platforms and cloud infrastructure for mid-market and enterprise clients in consumer goods, logistics, financial services, automotive and healthcare.
Our delivery model combines a German contracting partner (one GmbH, EU time zone, GDPR and DPA-compliant) with access to more than 150 engineers through our nearshore delivery network. Clients get enterprise-grade engineering capacity without the risk and friction of offshore outsourcing.
Selected results: an AI-assisted insight platform that cut FMCG reporting from weeks to seconds at over 99 percent data accuracy; a B2B ordering platform serving 45,000+ points of sale; a last-mile delivery platform used by 20,000+ couriers; cloud operations across 1,100+ VMs in 40+ countries.
Services: Software Development, Data and BI, Cloud and Infrastructure, Digital Transformation, Nearshore Dedicated Teams. Founded 2019. Languages: English, German, Turkish.

Processes and approach
How do you gather and validate client requirements?
Every engagement starts with a Discovery phase: structured workshops with business and IT stakeholders, review of existing systems and data, and a written scope with goals, constraints and success metrics. Requirements are captured as user stories with acceptance criteria and prioritised together with the client before Setup begins.
How do you ensure alignment with client goals and business strategy?
We agree measurable business outcomes up front (for example reporting cycle time, order throughput, system latency) and review them at every milestone. Architecture and backlog decisions are tied back to those outcomes, and a Berlin-based engagement lead is accountable for keeping delivery aligned with the client goals.
Which software development methodologies do you use (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum)?
Agile delivery (Scrum or Kanban depending on the client), two-week sprints with sprint reviews, CI/CD pipelines, code review on every change, infrastructure as code and automated testing. Our Discovery, Setup, Deliver, Scale framework structures the engagement from first workshop to long-term operation.
How do you keep clients and stakeholders updated on project progress?
Clients get a shared project board (Jira or Azure DevOps), a written weekly status report with progress, risks and next steps, sprint reviews with working software, and a monthly steering meeting with the engagement lead.
How frequently do you hold check-in meetings or status updates?
Weekly written status report, sprint review every two weeks, monthly steering meeting; ad hoc within the same business day for blockers.
What quality assurance practices do you follow?
Automated unit, integration and end-to-end tests in the CI pipeline, mandatory code review, static analysis, performance and load testing for customer-facing systems, and a dedicated QA engineer for enterprise projects. Data platforms include automated data quality checks; our FMCG insight platform runs at over 99 percent data accuracy.
How do you identify and manage project risks?
Risks are identified in Discovery and tracked in a risk register reviewed weekly. Each risk has an owner, a mitigation and a trigger. Technical risks are reduced early through prototypes and architecture spikes; delivery risks through buffer planning and transparent scope changes. Contracts, DPAs and GDPR compliance run through our German GmbH.
What kind of support or maintenance do you offer after delivery?
After go-live we offer hypercare for the first weeks, then optional managed services: monitoring, incident handling with agreed SLAs, security updates, cloud cost optimisation and a continuous improvement backlog. Dedicated nearshore teams can stay on long term under the same German contract.
