CRM Design of Advanced Data Annotation Tool
Challenge
Epinote is a Warsaw-based data management boutique providing data annotation and collection services.
The task was to design a CRM panel for that business, and the difficulty sits in who uses it. The application serves four types of users, among them customers, employees and the companies doing the annotation work, plus an administration panel on top. Each group comes to the same system with a different job to do, and a panel designed for one of them becomes an obstacle for the others.
Alongside the application, Epinote needed a clean, responsive business website.

Solution
Mobitouch delivered UX research, wireframes, UI mockups and a clickable prototype, working in Figma.
The advanced functionality made research the starting point rather than an optional step. We examined how each of the four user groups behaves and what they come to the system for, then prepared a first version covering both UX and UI. Several rounds of testing followed, and the final design came out of them instead of out of the first idea.
The result is minimalistic on purpose. Arranging each group's functions around what that group actually does, and keeping the interface clear, is what allows advanced operations to be performed smoothly by people who did not come to admire the panel.
The business website was prepared as a transparent, responsive presentation of the company, built in line with SEO best practices.

Results
Epinote has a design for a modern, minimalistic CRM where four different user groups each find their own functions where they expect them, and complex operations run without effort.
The clickable prototype turned the concept into something testable before development, and the business website presents the company clearly and in line with SEO best practices.
