Challenge

Female motorcyclists are a global community, but the community lives in scattered social media groups. Finding people who ride nearby, planning a shared trip or keeping track of events all happen in places that were never built for it, and everything gets lost in a feed.

SheRidez was meant to give that community a space of its own. The app had to make connecting easier than a Facebook group does, not merely reproduce it, and it had to handle the two things riders actually do together: organise group rides and take part in motorcycle events.

The work covered more than the app itself. Mobitouch was responsible for the branding strategy, the UX and UI design, cross-platform development and a landing page for the product.

Solution

Mobitouch built SheRidez in Flutter on Firebase, with a FireCMS admin panel and a landing page.

Events are searched by location, so a rider sees meetups happening near her and finds local groups without asking around. That one function does most of the work of connecting people, because proximity is what decides whether a shared ride happens.

Profiles go well beyond a name and a photo. A user describes her motorcycle, her riding style and herself, which is what riders look at when deciding who to ride with. From there she joins motorcycle clubs, signs up for organised events and shares posts, so inspiration flows inside the app instead of a general feed.

Flutter puts the same app on iOS and Android and keeps it running consistently across devices. FireCMS gives the team an admin panel for managing users and events without developer involvement.

The landing page presents the main features, the benefits and testimonials from users, and sends people to the App Store and Google Play.

Results

SheRidez gives female motorcyclists a place built for them rather than borrowed from a social network. The interface makes finding other riders simpler than the groups they used before, and organising a shared ride or joining an event takes a few taps.

Location-based event search connects riders with what is happening around them, and detailed profiles, clubs and posts keep the community active between trips.

The FireCMS admin panel keeps users and events manageable for the team, and the landing page supports the brand and drives downloads from both stores.
