In December 2022, we started a collaboration with Zielone Pogotowie, a company renowned for its diverse range of goods and services catering to the world of gardens. They launched the mobile app - Plantis in 2014.
But before approaching us, they had collaborated with two other companies in the past. So, what went wrong in those cases, and how did we address these issues?
Difficulties:
- Lack of documentation to smoothly enter the development process without unnecessary downtime for the client.
- Technological differences.
- Ensuring work continuity.
- Understanding business goals and roadmaps to support client work as a team.

Solution
Taking over a project without documentation is a challenge, but we have strategies in place. We began with an initial code assessment, closely collaborating with the client to understand their goals and project issues. We conducted manual tests and, using the Scrum methodology, maintained regular client contact. As we progressed, we documented architecture, data models, and dependencies.
