Since 1995, the Roberts family has been producing world-class English sparkling wine in Sussex, focusing on quality and sustainability from grape to glass.
It began with a pioneering vision nearly 30 years ago: to create exceptional sparkling wine in the heart of Sussex, that would be celebrated around the world. Many thought it couldn’t be done, but they were set to put English winemaking on the global stage.
Ridgeview needed a website that was fit for purpose, unlike their old website which they were unable to make big development changes too. Their key goals were to improve the customer experience through better navigation and to have a website that better represented their brand.

Solution
The website was to become an advanced sales and marketing platform. Ridgeview requested additional functionality options within the website’s admin panel that are not usually found in off-the-peg ecommerce websites.
Our developers found bespoke solutions to manage complex scenarios, such as the ability to switch wine tours after purchase, or to purchase as a gift. Ridgeview is now a fantastic example of the bespoke web development solutions created by OMTech, with ecommerce conversion rate from organic traffic increased 16.5% since the launch of the new website.
Perhaps the most important feature of this website is the ability of users to easily find exactly the type of wine that suits them.

Searches always produce a good match to explore further, and visitor time on site statistics prove that the experience works very well.
We’ve built a new simplified site map and have decided on imagery strong usage. The most significant design choice was the use of photography.
The new website is now live with an immersive design that reflects the onsite experience from the get-go! Not to mention, the Team at Ridgeview have complete control over their site, where they can create new pages for campaigns, run promotions, and carry out A/B tests for better conversions.
