Challenge
Community is at the core of MYMOMENTUM. Our client sought to create a space where like-minded individuals and amazing local businesses could connect and support one another, both online and offline. They envisioned an app that would bring people together virtually, while also facilitating real-world interactions through free monthly community events in Vancouver. These events would offer participants a high-energy workout, opportunities to mingle, and post-workout snacks and swag from local partners. The platform needed to display event details, including descriptions and locations for the offline meet-ups, while also allowing local vendors to reach and engage with customers through the online platform.

Solution
We are passionate about taking ideas and transforming them into something more impactful. Purpose and impact are what drive us forward. For this project, we utilized the React Native framework for the frontend and Laravel for the backend, with the goal of launching the app quickly on both Android and iOS platforms. One of the primary challenges we encountered was implementing push notifications, which can be complex within the React Native framework. However, thanks to our expert team, we successfully overcame this challenge and launched the app on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
