Internal teams at WIX, the website creation platform, regularly needed to create pages, update materials, change layouts and publish time-sensitive content. Even minor requests required developer involvement, so routine updates piled up in the engineering backlog and some waited several days before anyone could get to them.

SoftDoes built a browser-based management tool for creating, editing, reviewing and publishing content. Permissions differ by team: contributors prepare changes, managers review them and only authorized users can publish. The tool keeps version history, supports reusable components, shows exactly what changed between drafts and includes a preview environment for checking changes before they go live. It connects to several services the teams already use, and the interface was kept simple enough to use without long training.
