The main challenge was to develop a website and a mobile application for Android and iOS from scratch. The client needed an efficient and secure solution to help athletes monitor and maintain the necessary glucose level during and after their training to improve their performance. The mobile application also had to connect to the biosensor that the client uses.

Solution
Supersapiens is a mobile application (both on iOS and Android) that is linked to the Abbott Libre Sense glucose sport biosensor. While the biosensor collects real-time glucose data, the app displays the data in an easy-to-understand format, so that athletes can measure and maintain proper glucose levels and nutritional efficiency during their training and competitions. The application is integrated with external systems such as Garmin,
TrainingPeaks, and Apple Health. Together with the client’s team, SoftTeco also created a user-friendly Supersapiens website, which securely stores user data in accordance with global security standards. The website contains useful information about the integration of the app with external devices and an overview of
the supported wearable devices. Users can select various monthly subscription plans that vary in the number of biosensors and performance patches (while the application can be downloaded for free).
A client who was interested in science and sports came up with an idea to create a professional application for athletes to track their glucose levels.
