StackNova is a product engineering studio headquartered in Dover, Delaware, serving clients across the United States and Europe. We build custom software in three areas where off-the-shelf platforms stop being enough.
Travel. We build flight and hotel booking engines that handle GDS and NDC inventory from multiple sources, normalized into a single search result. Our engines use server-side seat holds with explicit expiry, so two customers cannot pay for the same seat, and multi-currency checkout where the price quoted at search matches the price charged at payment. These are the parts that determine refund rates, and they are the parts templates get wrong.
Healthtech. We build patient portals and clinical workflow tools: identity matching across EHR systems so one patient is not three records, appointment write-back to practice management systems, audit-logged record access, and intake forms that reach the chart instead of a PDF someone retypes. We treat HIPAA readiness as access control and logging decisions made before the first screen is designed.
SaaS. We build multi-tenant platforms with role-based access, usage-based billing, and data isolation designed into the first sprint rather than retrofitted after the first enterprise customer asks for it.
How we work. Every engagement starts with scoping, not a proposal. We tell clients what to build, what to buy off the shelf, and what to defer, before anyone writes code. Delivery runs in two-week sprints, each ending in a working demo rather than a status report. Clients talk directly to the engineers building the product.
Technology. Backend in .NET and C#. Frontend in React. Node where it fits. PostgreSQL and SQL Server. Azure and AWS. Mobile in React Native, or native when the product requires it. Integrations across payment processors, GDS providers, EHR systems, and third-party APIs.
We offer a free 30-minute scoping call for teams evaluating build versus buy.
