Solution
The Sickweather app leverages GPS geolocation technology and pushes notifications to alert users in real-time when they enter “sick zones”, which are geofenced areas the client created from the health data theycollect.
The data includes the frequency of reported illnesses including strep throat, the flu, whooping cough, and others. Users can contribute their own reports to crowdsource data as well.
Technology Rivers was responsible for the entire Android development process. Their internal iOS team had already established a design that we adjusted to suit the Android user interface before starting development.

Results
Sickweather does their own QA testing in-house and they haven’t encountered any major problems. They also monitor feedback on the Google Play store, and they are at about a 4-star rating right now.
