Challenge

ReadyShortlist set out to be Pakistan's vetted tech talent network, explicitly not a job board and not a traditional recruiter. That positioning creates a hard product problem: two audiences with opposite needs have to be served by one product without either feeling like an afterthought. Employers want to trust the vetting and receive a shortlist fast. Candidates want to understand how they are assessed and not be treated as inventory. On top of that, the business needed an internal tool to actually run its five-point vetting process, because the promise of an interview-ready shortlist inside 72 hours only holds if the operations behind it are fast.

Solution

We built the whole thing end to end: a public marketing site and a private admin portal, treated as one product rather than two projects. The public side splits cleanly into For Employers and For Candidates tracks, each with its own explanation of the process and its own call to action, plus transparent pricing so employers can qualify themselves before speaking to anyone.

Behind the login sits the admin portal that runs the five-point vetting workflow, tracks candidates through each stage, and assembles the shortlists that get sent out. That is where the 72-hour promise is actually kept, so it was built for speed of use rather than feature count. Front end is React on a Next.js foundation, with the operational tooling designed around how the team really works.

Results

ReadyShortlist launched with both halves of the business working: a public site that qualifies and converts two distinct audiences, and the internal tooling needed to deliver on an interview-ready shortlist in 72 hours. Separating the employer and candidate journeys meant neither audience reads someone else's marketing.

Shipped in one month from brief to live, which is the detail worth noting for an end-to-end product with an admin portal rather than a brochure site. The client now runs their vetting operation on the tool we built rather than on spreadsheets.
