Challenge
Fedica already did more than most social platforms: publishing to every major network, a shared inbox, and some of the deepest audience analytics around, including Tweepsmap, Twitteraudit and Followerwonk. What it did not have was one place to use it all. Each tool lived on its own page with its own way of working, so most people found the one they came for and never found the rest.

What it did not have was one place to use it all. Each tool lived on its own page with its own way of working, so most people found the one they came for and never found the rest.
Solution
We redesigned Fedica as one workspace, from the dashboard to the last follower filter, on desktop and phone. Over six months we worked alongside Fedica’s own team, through the main release and a second one in October that added a new set of follower tools. Every screen in Fedica belongs to one of four jobs, and each one feeds the next: plan, publish, reply and learn. The dashboard is a wall of cards, each one a door to a tool with its key number on the front.

Results
After the redesign, people who came for one tool started using the rest. More teams now plan, publish and reply in Fedica, rather than using it for analytics alone. Accounts using three or more tools rose 36%, and the time to plan a week of posts fell 42%. 193 screens on desktop and phone, all from one system.
