How frequently do you hold check-in meetings or status updates?
We aim to keep clients informed at least 2 times a week, with meaningful feedback, not just "We're still working on it". In the world of software, it's very easy to fall into a vacuum and isolate yourself from the feedback cycle to favour focus and concentration. However, we find that frequently working with the client in demo sessions provides a tangible status update and a platform for the client to provide changes or refinements should they wish to. Progress should not be hidden in a box. Transparency is key.
What quality assurance practices do you follow?
Following Test Driven Development with test cases allows us to plan for known outcomes. In addition, real world testing of applications is a must. We also configure automated alerts to detect issues before they snowball, granting us the opportunity to address issues quickly. Quality assurance doesn't stop once the product is live. It's an ongoing requirement and responsibility.
How do you identify and manage project risks?
Through 20 years of development experience. It's as simple as that. We do not believe we have seen "every type of issue". But our decades of experience allows us to mitigate risks. In terms of managing those risks, this requires constant client engagement whereby we collaborate on how best to navigate risks.
