Challenge
Galore’s Shopify store relied heavily on the default Origin theme and third-party apps, which made the storefront feel generic and added unnecessary dependencies. The business also faced incorrect tracking links in order and shipping emails, creating a poor post-purchase experience. On the operational side, its ERP did not integrate directly with Shopify, which created inventory visibility gaps, especially for partially fulfilled orders where remaining stock had already reached zero. Staff had to identify these cases manually, increasing the risk of missed orders and repetitive operational work.

Solution
VT Netzwelt worked with Galore as an ongoing Shopify development partner, focusing on building custom functionality directly into the store instead of adding more third-party apps. We customized the Shopify Origin theme, redesigned product cards, and developed a native free-shipping progress bar to improve conversion without adding extra script weight. We also corrected order and shipping notification flows so customers received accurate tracking URLs and shipment details. For inventory management, we created a custom monitoring workflow that identifies partially fulfilled orders with zero remaining inventory and surfaces them automatically for the team. Ongoing development and technical consultation continue as Galore’s requirements evolve.

Results
The custom Shopify enhancements reduced third-party app dependencies and helped keep the store lighter and easier to maintain. Theme customization gave Galore a stronger branded storefront rather than an out-of-the-box Shopify appearance. Correct tracking links improved post-purchase communication and reduced a recurring source of customer support requests. The inventory automation gave the team better visibility into stuck or partially fulfilled orders, reducing manual monitoring and the risk of missed cases. The ongoing development model also allows Galore to introduce improvements continuously without restarting a large project for every change.
