EdTech Design & Marketplace Platform for Edigo
Challenge
Edigo set out to give teachers a Canva-style design tool purpose-built for the classroom, not a generic design app retrofitted with education templates. That meant solving several hard problems at once: real-time collaborative editing with live multi-user cursors, a LaTeX-capable math editor for STEM worksheets, auto-graded fillable PDF assignments that plug into Google Classroom, and a two-sided marketplace where teachers could sell their own resources with built-in payouts. Stitching together real-time collaboration, AI content generation, document editing, and marketplace commerce into one seamless product, without it feeling like four different tools duct-taped together, was the core technical and product challenge.

Solution
Webisoft built out Edigo's core platform: the collaborative document editor (with live cursors and shared team workspaces), the template and asset library spanning worksheets, posters, task cards, and lesson plans, and the interactive layer including QR code generation, branching "When/Then" presentation logic, and photo/image tooling with AI-generated illustrations. On the commerce side, Webisoft implemented teacher storefronts, a sales analytics dashboard, and revenue-share payouts through Stripe and PayPal. The build also included Google Classroom integration for assignment distribution and homework tracking, plus an embedded AI assistant that helps teachers draft and generate content directly inside their documents.
