Challenge

Atium Health wanted a blockchain-backed system that would bring traceability, security and compliance to its digital records, while keeping the experience smooth for both patients and therapists. As a therapy and mental health provider, it needed every patient and therapist interaction, including digital consent, to be recorded in a way that was transparent, encrypted and easy to audit.

Solution

Webisoft designed and deployed a permissioned blockchain architecture that logged secure events for every patient and therapist interaction at Atium Health, including digital consent capture, timestamped session metadata and treatment plan updates, all encrypted and traceable. We built a therapist dashboard with visibility into record chains without exposing sensitive content, integrated the platform with Atium Health’s EHR system, and provided APIs for scheduling and billing tools. We also delivered a patient-facing consent interface, HIPAA and GDPR compliance controls, testing, documentation and onboarding sessions.

Results

Manual consent documentation was eliminated, reducing administrative overhead for Atium Health’s care team. Audit trails for clinical sessions became traceable in real time, which eased internal compliance reviews. Patients reported feeling more secure knowing their records were transparently protected, and therapist onboarding became more efficient. Automated logging removed redundant data entry.
