WebProfessor is a software house from Warsaw, Poland, specializing in two areas: professional business websites and custom applications that companies run on every day.
Business websites on Astro, Sanity and Cloudflare
Our websites are fast and secure, rank high in Google and AI search, and convert well. Your team edits content in Sanity headless CMS without a developer. We migrate sites from WordPress and other CMSs without losing Google rankings.
Custom web applications in React, Next.js and Spring Boot
Internal systems, panels for patients, customers and sales, and billing, integrated with your ERP, CRM and payment tools. After launch we handle maintenance and development. A website and applications often form one system, from winning customers to internal processes and AI automation. You can start with any part and add the rest in stages.
Healthcare, automotive and education experience
-
Healthcare. For the OpenMed medical centers we built a website with online booking (+43% conversion, +3782% organic traffic) and MedBill, a clinic management system. Plus an e-prescription and e-referral platform integrated with Poland's P1 e-health system and ZUS. -
Automotive. The ClickLease website, with vehicle search, a leasing calculator and supplier offers, raised conversion by 86%. -
Education. For Bonapi, a Dutch training center, we moved multilingual sites from WordPress to Sanity and Astro and built a training, customer and e-learning system. For Egzamido, a platform with subscriptions and a study assistant.
Senior team, 50+ projects, measurable results
50+ projects, a senior-only team with 8+ years of experience each, and direct contact with the CEO and CTO. We use AI wisely to work faster without losing quality, and combine IT with marketing, UX and conversion rate optimization (CRO). Our websites raise conversion by 47.2% on average, with an average ROI of 324% after 6 months. We work with companies from Poland, Europe and the US.

Processes and approach
How do you gather and validate client requirements?
Every project starts with a free consultation directly with our CEO and CTO, with no account managers in between. We start with the business goal: more enquiries, more online bookings, higher conversion or fewer hours of manual work. Then we review your current website, CMS, integrations, analytics and data. You get concrete recommendations and an estimate in a few options, so you choose the scope that fits your budget. Larger websites and web applications are split into stages, and the scope of each stage is agreed and accepted before work starts.
How do you ensure alignment with client goals and business strategy?
We combine engineering with marketing, strategy, UX and conversion rate optimization (CRO), so we judge a project by business results. For a business website that means enquiries, bookings, visibility in Google and AI search, and conversion. Our websites raise conversion by 47.2% on average, with an average ROI of 324% in six months. For a custom web application it means saved work hours and fewer errors. We advise and take the initiative, including when a smaller scope is the better choice, and the CEO and CTO stay on your project throughout.
Which software development methodologies do you use (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum)?
We work iteratively, in agreed stages. A project starts with a short discovery and a scoped first stage, then grows in iterations, so you see working results early and can change priorities between stages. Larger systems are built module by module: start with the Astro website or one module of the application, then add the customer panel, integrations or AI automation later. Designers and developers work in one team and we prototype before writing code. The stack is Astro, Sanity and Cloudflare for websites, and React, Next.js, TypeScript and Spring Boot for applications.
How do you keep clients and stakeholders updated on project progress?
You talk directly to the people who build the project, the CEO and the CTO, with no account managers in between. Tasks and progress are tracked in ClickUp. Day-to-day communication runs on Slack or email, so you always know what is done, what is next and what we need from you. When the project needs it, you can see work in progress on a staging environment. Every stage ends with a review meeting: we show what was delivered, you accept the stage, and we move on to the next one.
How frequently do you hold check-in meetings or status updates?
It depends on the project and on how involved you want to be. Some clients want us to take most of the organization off their plate to save their time, others prefer to take part in every decision. We adapt to both. During the project we can hold regular check-in meetings, at most every two weeks, and we answer questions on Slack or email in between. Every stage always ends with a review meeting where we show what was done, you accept the stage, and we start the next one.
What quality assurance practices do you follow?
A senior-only team, everyone with 8+ years of experience, follows software development best practices, and every change goes through code review. We use AI responsibly: it speeds up the work, but our specialists check every piece of generated code, so speed never costs security or quality. Before release, quality is tested in a separate QA stage, on a staging environment when needed. Where it makes sense we add unit, integration and end-to-end tests (Playwright). In production we set up error monitoring with Sentry, uptime, logs and observability.
How do you identify and manage project risks?
We reduce risk by scoping work in stages: each stage has an agreed scope and estimate, so surprises are caught early and do not grow into a whole-project problem. Website migrations from WordPress and other CMSs get a full redirect map, so Google rankings stay. For healthcare and other regulated industries we deliver in line with GDPR. Senior engineers make the architecture decisions, code review catches problems before release, and Sentry and uptime monitoring show errors in production before users report them.
What kind of support or maintenance do you offer after delivery?
After launch we handle maintenance and further development of the websites and web applications we build. That covers hosting and CDN on Cloudflare, security updates, backups, uptime, error and performance monitoring, and content changes in the Sanity CMS. We add new sections, features and integrations, and keep improving SEO, AI search visibility and conversion based on analytics. You keep one contact person who knows your project, and many of our systems have been developed with the same clients for years.
