Suitable Riders - Food & Parcel Delivery App
Challenge
A UK-based delivery services business in the food delivery industry wanted to create a digital platform that connects independent and self-employed riders with restaurants and takeaways. The goal was to streamline the delivery process while allowing riders to earn revenue using their own vehicles.
The platform needed to support multiple restaurants and riders, operate smoothly across Web, iOS, and Android, provide realtime tracking for deliveries and payments, and scale easily as the network grows.

Solution
We developed Suitable Riders as a complete delivery management ecosystem for restaurants and riders. An intuitive UI/UX was designed in Adobe XD to ensure ease of use for both user groups.
Flutter was used to build iOS and Android apps for consistent performance, while a responsive web platform was developed using Vue.js for realtime management and insights. The backend was built with Node.js, Nest.js, TypeScript, and MongoDB to manage orders, rider assignments, and payments.
GPS tracking was integrated for live delivery updates, Stripe was used for secure payments, and the platform was deployed on AWS to ensure scalability and reliability.
