Challenge

Research indicates that up to 70% of hospital-acquired infections could be prevented with proper protocols including hand sanitization. Pre-screening, consisting of measuring body temperature, checking mask and hand sanitization compliance and having the patients answer a brief questionnaire, is critical in reducing the risk of an encounter between a patient with potential exposure to Covid-19 and other patients and staff.

Solution

RAI’s screening solution proves itself invaluable beyond medical settings – including retail locations, airports, manufacturing facilities, universities, casinos, and government agencies. It holds fast health checks, specifically to track the temperature and human behavior, in order to identify visitors with detected issues and prevent the spread of illness. Also, RadiusAI has produced all offline spots (offline systems) and got a working system for human safety for the 2b2 segment on the market.

Results

The software takes much of the time burden of the nursing staff so that they can focus more intently on patient care: pre-screening solution will save 8-16 hours per week of nursing staff time at each hospital entrance. This is especially important with the prospect of new waves of pandemic coming. Also, RAI has advanced real-time models for tracking customers and their behavior in 3D space using regular 2D monocular security cameras. The RAI team has created unique, anonymized numeric codes to differentiate between customers and staff. The system can track the customer’s journey, behavior, purchases and dwell times at an area of interest.
