Challenge
The previous workflow involved manually recording work hours, controlling overtime, and analyzing data, which complicated accurate planning and tracking of resource usage. There was a need to centralize work orders, material costs, and reporting data, with the capability to conduct analytics for better capacity planning and employee rewards. Additionally, there was a need to generate reports that included all relevant information while simplifying the management of this information through mobile and web applications.

Solution
The proposed solution involved developing an application that allowed service technicians to input data on completed work, used materials, and work hours via mobile devices and a web interface. The application enabled the review and analysis of spent work hours, control of overtime, and the generation of reports in PDF format with multi-language support. It also featured offline capabilities, real-time notifications, and built-in support for analytics, ensuring seamless operation and enhanced resource management even in challenging environments.

The goal of this project was to digitize the operations of the company division responsible for ship servicing and maintenance, enhancing the service level provided to clients and streamlining daily operations. The focus was on developing an application that would replace the existing service report, a document used to present and verify completed work to the client and as a preparation for invoicing. By modernizing these processes, the company aimed to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall service quality.
