After conducting the discovery phase, we reached an agreement to adopt a Task Force cooperation model with the client for the initial 6-month period, with the possibility of extending it if it proves to be effective.

2 additional Task Forces were ‘ordered’ after 3 months of cooperation, and then 1 new Task Force each quarter during the next financial year.
Relief of burden
After 3 months the company could finally start laying over the less effective developers that were basically draining the budget.
Closing debt
Product owners could finally return to the technical debt backlog (that by this time was worth 7 months of work for the entire team). They found out that more than 70% of it was actually featured and still in high demand from the clients, and all those features were sacrificed for the sake of new product requests.
