Processes and approach
How do you gather and validate client requirements?
Every engagement starts with discovery led by a strategist, a lead developer and a designer. We review your analytics, current platform, integrations, catalog and customer journey, interview your stakeholders and look at competitors. Findings become a written scope of work (SOW) covering features, integrations, timeline and acceptance criteria. Nothing moves into design or development until you approve the SOW, and anything new after that goes through a documented change request, so scope stays clear on both sides.
How do you ensure alignment with client goals and business strategy?
We start by defining what success means for your business: revenue, conversion rate, average order value, B2B ordering efficiency or organic visibility. Those goals shape every design and development decision, so each feature ties back to a measurable outcome. A dedicated project manager and strategist keep priorities aligned with your roadmap, and after launch we review analytics with you to confirm results and plan the next phase of growth.
Which software development methodologies do you use (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum)?
We use an Agile approach adapted for ecommerce. Discovery and design run in defined phases with approval gates, then development runs in short sprints with regular demos on a staging site, so you see progress early and give feedback well before launch. Fixed-scope projects follow an approved SOW and timeline. Ongoing work such as CRO, SEO and support runs from a monthly backlog we prioritize with you.
How do you keep clients and stakeholders updated on project progress?
Every client gets a dedicated project manager as a single point of contact. Projects run in a shared project workspace where you can see tasks, timelines, files and feedback in one place. You receive regular written status updates covering progress, next steps, open decisions and risks, plus scheduled calls for design and development reviews. We reply the same day, so questions never sit waiting.
How frequently do you hold check-in meetings or status updates?
Most projects have a weekly status call with your project manager, with written updates in between. During design reviews and the weeks before launch, we meet more often to keep approvals moving. Retainer clients get a monthly report and planning call covering results and next month's priorities. We set the cadence at kickoff to fit your team's schedule.
What quality assurance practices do you follow?
A dedicated QA specialist tests every build before it reaches you. We test across browsers and real devices, check functionality, checkout, integrations and data, and review performance, accessibility and SEO, including redirects on migrations. All work is built and reviewed on a staging site, then you complete user acceptance testing before launch. After go-live, we run a launch checklist and monitor the store closely.
How do you identify and manage project risks?
Risk management starts in discovery, where we identify technical, integration, data and timeline risks before anything is scoped. Project managers track risks and dependencies throughout the project and raise them early in status updates, along with options to resolve them. On migrations, we protect revenue and rankings with data validation, URL redirect mapping, SEO benchmarks and a tested launch plan. A clear SOW and change-request process keeps budgets and timelines predictable.
What kind of support or maintenance do you offer after delivery?
Every launch includes a post-launch support period to fix issues and monitor performance. Clients can then move to a monthly support and maintenance retainer covering bug fixes, theme and app updates, enhancements, platform changes and proactive monitoring, with same-day replies from the team that built the store. Many brands also continue with growth retainers for CRO and A/B testing, ecommerce SEO and AI search optimization.
