GiftX: AI gifting app for iOS and Android
Challenge
GiftX wanted an AI gifting product that turns a recipient's interests, the occasion and the budget into personalized gift ideas, with shareable wishlists so friends and family can reserve gifts and nobody buys the same thing twice. AI calls had to stay fast and affordable at scale.

Solution
PatStudio designed and built GiftX end to end: native iOS and Android apps from one Kotlin Multiplatform codebase with Compose Multiplatform UI, a NestJS backend with PostgreSQL and background job queues, an LLM layer (OpenAI and Claude) with caching and budget controls, a React web app, and the App Store and Google Play releases.
