The client was developing a complex custom business software solution for managing company processes, documentation, tasks, time and salary calculations, and employee leave tracking. Although the company already had an in-house QA team, the growing scope of work required two additional experienced QA Engineers to work on the project full-time.
The main challenge was onboarding specialists into an unfamiliar product that had already been under active development for a year. The QA Engineers needed to quickly understand the existing functionality, determine the current state of development, and identify the quality issues already present in the product.
Because the software was large, fully customized, and continuously evolving, the specialists also had to become an integral part of the client's team almost immediately. They needed to establish effective communication with developers, analysts, and project managers while taking responsibility for specific product areas and maintaining continuous testing coverage.
